Dr Janneke Scheelings

Dr Scheelings completed her postgraduate medical degree at Notre Dame University in Western Australia in 2016 following a career as a Paramedic with Queensland Ambulance Service. She gained a range of medical and surgical specialty experience over several years within WA hospitals, including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Hollywood Private hospital, Karratha Health Campus, Osborne Park hospital and most recently at Perth Children's Hospital. She also worked with Silver Chain Palliative Care service, which has enriched a passion for Palliative Care within the community.
Janneke loves the holistic aspect of General Practice and enjoys the variety of patients that walk through the door. Outside of work she loves spending time entertaining her toddler, her two Labradors and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
